RACE REVIEWS

Superb event. Everything you'd want from a race: easy parking, well organised, beautiful & challenging course (great XC training), supportive marshals and a good selection of tasty post-run cakes!
The hills and mud were tough but so rewarding. Hope the "pond" returns for next year - it was lovely and refreshing on the way back!
Thank you to everyone involved. I'll be encouraging more of my clubmates to join me next year. -

Fantastic event. Really well organised. Lots of super friendly marshals. An amazing course, very tough and full of mud, pools of water and some challenging climbs, but the views were worth it. Lovely selection of cakes and hot tea and coffee served with a smile. Parking close to the start, really can't fault it at all. And a wonderful pre cross country season session. Thank you, we hope to be back next year! - Jane Colbeck-McKinnon

Many thanks to all the organisers, Marshall's and helpers for yesterday's race. What a great event and challenging course with the hill and mud but thoroughly enjoyable! We were over from Jersey on holidays and so lucky to have come across your event and hope to do it again in future! - Mick Siouville

Friendly and fun and well organised - thanks! - Rachel Godfrey

My first ever cross-country/trail run and I LOVED it, despite coming literally last in the 10k!! Although the ground was muddy and there was a 'pond' in one field, the weather was beautiful, the views gorgeous and the atmosphere was just sooo friendly - I think I'll have to come back and try again next year - Jackie Williams
